As the head baseball coach at West Virginia University for the past 12 years, we took a program from the brink of elimination to now what is a top 25 baseball program in the nation. We didn’t do that because we had better bats and balls than the other teams, we did it because we created a different culture, philosophy, and worth ethic than the teams we were competing against. After 35 years as a successful college baseball coach, I decided to retire after the 2024 season to pursue a career in motivational speaking and leadership training. I have coached thousands of kids over the course of my baseball career and I want to continue coaching, but now I want to coach and motivate the adults on how to coach other people.
